Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Announces $400 Million Expansion of Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has unveiled plans for a substantial $400 million expansion to their Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa located in Rancho Mirage, California. This announcement marks a significant development aimed at enhancing the resort’s capacity and guest experience. The expansion includes the construction of a new 14-story hotel tower featuring 364 additional rooms, which will more than double the current accomodations. In addition to the new hotel facilities, the project encompasses a broader gaming floor, a 7,000-square-foot arts pavilion, and a new indoor entertainment venue designed to attract visitors and diversify offerings. The resort will also benefit from a 4,500-square-foot bar and lounge area, among other upgraded amenities tailored to improve guest satisfaction and engagement. Scheduled to initiate construction in 2026, this development underlines the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians' commitment to strengthening their presence in the Coachella Valley’s competitive gaming and hospitality market.
